Subject/Research guide pilot site is released for NITR users
The objective of this Subject/Research guide is to provide information about the key resources accessible to all NITR community on a particular subject. This is not a comprehensive guide, but rather a selective list of resources that are most useful in locating the required information on a particular subject. This guide enables you to access resources such as Books, e-Books, Magazines, e-journals, subscribed databases, Open Access Educational Resources (OERs), Technology Enabled Learning resources (Videos, Lessons, etc.) and library catalog on a single platform.

Invitation to participate in National Workshop on Library Automation (Koha), Application of RFID and Reference Management Tool (Zotero) during December 05-09, 2016 at NIT Rourkela, Odisha.
It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that Biju Patnaik Central Library (BPCL) of National Institute of Technology Rourkela is organizing the “National Workshop on Library Automation (Koha), Application of RFID and Reference Management Tool (Zotero)” to be held in NIT Rourkela, Odisha from December 05-09, 2016.
This workshop comprises five full days of technical sessions, demonstrations and hands-on practice on automating the libraries using Koha, RFID machines and Zotero – a reference management tool in detail. It also aims to provide basic knowledge and skills to participants in customizing Koha OPAC for creating, designing, conceptualizing and managing as library website. We invite you and your colleagues to participate in this workshop.
Target audience: Workshop is intended for Library and Information Science Professionals, researchers and LIS students.
Registration is limited to 30 participants on first come first serve basis.
